Sustainable Product Lifecycle of FFL
The sustainable product lifecycle at FFL starts with design, research, and development. As we are fashion creators, F Studio UK in collaboration with F Studio UK and our R&D division is constantly innovating newer fabric blends and garment styles to meet the growing need of the sustainable market of the world today. Biggest name brands are making a move towards sustainability, being more accountable to nature and the conscious consumer of today. For this perpose, our facilities are on the lookout for latest innovation on sustainable or bio degradable raw materials along with production technology and methods for the end garment to be less impactful to the environment. We are continuously adding water and energy saving machineries, experimenting with newer production methods and technologies, using renewable energy and resources along with sourcing sustainable materials to create sustainable fashion garments which are able to meet the needs of the market in the current perspective.
we are constantly innovating newer fabric blends and complexities, using industry leading and pioneering materials such as bamboo, hemp, yarn produced from recycled plastic bottles, yarn generated from wastage fabrics through the reverse resource program for upcycling, renewcell, biodegradable polyester along with many recycled yarns such as polyamide, nylon, elastane and cotton. We are continuously working with our associated brands, Co-developing newer composition of fabric and garment styles using these materials, pushing sustainable fashion forward.
Utilizing our 3D and virtual garment sampling capabilities, we have drastically decreased the need for physical samples, minimizing waste and promoting fashion industry sustainability. Sustainable production methods such as cold pigment dying, laser and digital printing, ozone wash, use of natural dyes and ecofriendly chemicals has further reduced our industry impact in our efforts to be less intrusive to nature.

TRACEABILITY
One of Fakir Fashion’s core missions is to “Establish Technology & Information Driven Value Chain” in which Traceability plays a significant part.
Our meticulous materials traceability initiatives ensure that every element used in production is accounted for, every step of the way, promoting efficiency and transparency with internal and external stakeholders. We minimize industrial waste through accountability of materials used in production and ensure raw materials are sourced from quality and sustainable sources with proper certifications, ensuring traceable supply chains.
Our traceability initiatives extend towards mainly in the usage of yarns, chemicals, dyes & auxiliaries, accessories and operations ensuring the use of software automation and physical documentation of all materials used in the production. Our traceability initiatives also extend into our supply chains, ensuring proper required certifications and source monitoring in order to ensure sustained quality and availability of information.

-
Buyer nominations
-
FFL's personal sourcing team
4. RFID/QR code based tracking
Before production and during line feeding
-
RFID system ensures correct materials go into the correct orders
2. Testing &
Certification
Materials undergo:
-
Quality and sustainability testing, Collections of certifications (e.g., GOTS). OEKO-TEX, Bluesign
5. Order-Specific
Reporting & logging
Reports are generated for
-
Material consumption per buyer/order
3. Order-Specific
Inventory in-house and logging
Materials in-housed tested for quality.
Materials are logged in portals such as DHC and In-house ERP system.
6. Shipment &

CIRCULARITY
Circularity Initiatives by FFL
Using reverse resource for turning cutting wastage fabric into usable yarn.
Sending ETP sludge to Lafarge Holcim for making sustainable cement.
ETP water to be treated and reused in FFL facility, this is part of the Zero Discharge of Liquid plan FFL has for the future.
We are in the process of planning a biogas plant that will utilize manure from our Agro plant and select biowaste from our facility. The biogas produced will be harnessed to power generators, generating sustainable electricity for our operations.
We are currently developing a biomass boiler system that will use biowaste from our facility to heat water and generate steam for production processes.
